This campaign, spanning across print and motion, proves that protein alternatives are still finger lickin’ good. Society is becoming more health-conscious and desires to have the best of both nutrition and indulgence. The increase in “flexitarians” and those with dietary restrictions in society creates the perfect opportunity for the cultivation of a larger community around the concept of “fried chicken” in all its forms. This territory has been mainly untouched by direct competitors and would be a pioneer differentiator that aligns all KFC’s trans-generational target market. Vegetarians and meat-eaters have to be separate, and their communities can’t unite in one space. This campaign, however, speaks on the idea of creating a community around food that includes all styles of diets with a high flavor profile.
