The Imperfectionist

“The Imperfectionist” is a personal passion project in the form of a musical EP that combines two loves: music and storytelling. This EP utilizes music as a universal language to address a relatable narrative of perfectionism and the importance of support in growing into one’s authentic identity. Rather than striving for perfection, this EP encourages everyone to seek after perfect imperfection as imperfect excellence is ideal and perfection is unreal. In addition to the EP itself, I engaged in authentic, community-based marketing by collaborating with a variety of creatives to host The Retrograde Remix, a celebration of all that was and what’s coming next, specifically the surprise release of my debut EP. As a whole, this musical message encompassed music, fashion, and fun through interactive experiences and genuine play.
