Delta Airlines OOH Campaign
Solo Student Project
Convince undergraduate and graduate college students (18-25) that Delta Airlines gives them maximum freedom with minimal stress because they understand that customers should have the most stake in their vacation and foreign immersion experiences. The supporting reasons for this statement are that Delta Airlines prioritizes customizability via self-service upgrade access, simple cancellation procedures, flying experience customization, and flying entertainment customization. Through this out of home (OOH) campaign, I encourage customers to unground their previous notions to experience the freedom they deserve via full immersion in the Delta Airlines experience. Generative AI, in combination with a variety of technical programs, was utilized as a tool to bring these proposed interactive experiences to life digitally.
“Unground Your Mind”
This portion of the OOH campaign highlights the ability of a Delta Airlines experience to enlarge your perspective while addressing concerns such as safety, efficiency, and accommodations. Set in an airplane-themed cafe, this life-sized interactive passport serves as a gateway into most, if not all, of the essential information about Delta Airlines procedures as well as its offerings. With an LED screen engrained in the two accessible pages, consumers can become one with Delta Airlines and its endless opportunities.
“Unground Yourself”
This portion of the OOH campaign highlights the consumer’s power in their journey with Delta Airlines. Attached to one or more light poles around the city, these massive luggage tags serve as a reminder that Delta Airlines is a guide on your journey to freedom. There would be QR codes on the backs of each luggage tag, providing additional information about Delta Airlines procedures and current travel offerings as well as a sweepstakes opportunity for a free trip.
“Unground Your Journey”
This portion of the OOH campaign emphasizes Delta Airlines’ commitment to connecting cultures while providing superior experiential service. Located near the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport with an accompanying radio satellite wave system, this interactive billboard will open the dome to reveal a staple food specific to the flight overhead as well as basic information regarding the destination country and its flight number.
